Ask for Luigi

This cozy Vancouver favourite is tucked away on Alexander Street and offers casual (and delicious!) Italian-inspired cuisine in a warm, intimate setting. Ask For Luigi famously specializes in hand-made pasta and serves their dishes family-style, ideal for sharing. Normally, Ask For Luigi is strictly walk-ins only, but they’re offering reservations on February 14th. This spot is extremely popular though, so be sure to grab your spot fast!

Via Tevere

No dinner list would be complete without a classic pizzeria and we’ve selected one of the city’s best. Via Tevere has won the Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Award for best pizzeria multiple times, and for good reason. Offering authentic Neapolitan pizza made with a traditional wood-fire cooking method, Via Tevere serves all your pizzeria favourites.

Brix and Mortar

There’s a lot to love about Yaletown’s very own Brix and Mortar, but the highlights of this space are the unique, glass-covered courtyard and completely renovated outdoor patio, illuminated by seven-tier glass chandeliers. Located in a 1912 heritage brick building, this popular spot is locally owned and operated, serving modern Canadian cuisine, fine wine, creative cocktails and personalized service.

Minami

Another Yaletown staple, Minami is the sister restaurant to the popular Miku and offers a delicious combination of Japanese and West Coast Cuisine. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Minami is offering a special dinner for $125 per person. The six-course feast features a selection of premium sashimi, a selection of aburi “flame-seared” sushi, and A5 Japanese Wagyu au Poivre to name a few. Reserve online here.
